What is STEMpump?

STEMpump is a student-led education nonprofit. Our mission:

To provide the world with free education and give students a platform to create and share.

A group of high school students started STEMpump in September 2019 as a series of in-person camps, to make STEAM topics (science, technology, engineering, art and math) easier to learn for everyone. Since then we've built free courses, live online camps, this website and the STEMpump App.

Learning resources for these subjects can be hard to come by. Some are behind paywalls, some are out of date, and some are just confusing. STEMpump's courses are written by students who have recently learned the material themselves, so they explain it the way students think about it.

In 2026, we rebuilt STEMpump.org and the app from the ground up as version 5, and we're inviting students to contribute new courses and ideas.
