Where is my progress saved?

STEMpump doesn't have accounts. Instead, your browser remembers your learning on the device you're using:

  • Which lessons you've opened and completed, and where you left off in each course
  • Your Continue learning list
  • Your favorite courses, camps and lessons
  • The name you type onto a certificate

None of it is sent to us, and there's nothing to sign in to.

Things to know

  • It stays on one device and browser. Your progress on your laptop won't appear on your phone, or in a different browser on the same laptop.
  • The website and the app keep separate progress. The STEMpump App saves its own progress on your iPhone or iPad.
  • Private or incognito windows forget everything when you close them.
  • Clearing your browser's data for stempump.org erases it, and so can browser settings or extensions that clear site data automatically.

Start a course over

To clear one course's progress, open the course page and choose Reset progress below the course outline. It asks you to confirm first and doesn't affect any other course.
