v5

Coming Soon….

After 5 years, we’ve come back with significant quality-of-life updates to STEMpump, across all of our platforms.

STEMpump.org

STEMpump.org has been rebuilt from the ground up. It's faster, it has more consistency with the all-new STEMpump App, and it remembers your learning.

Library

• A new Discover page with the Lesson (or Quiz, or Project) of the Day, a featured course and a camp to watch, all refreshed every day
• Continue Learning picks up where you left off
• We’ve integrated Camps into the Library, alongside Courses
• A new Favorites page brings together your favorite courses, camps and lessons
• A brand-new Universal Search now finds courses, camps, subjects and chapters, plus individual lessons, quizzes and projects

Courses & Lessons

• Redesigned course and lesson views, with breadcrumbs and a sidebar that shows what you've completed
• Quizzes have been rebuilt to match the app, and code looks just like it does there too

Camps

• Every camp video has chapters and a transcript beside it that follows along. Click a line to jump there
• Favorite camps, just like courses

Other Updates

• Faster pages, and new content shows up sooner
• Accessibility and navigation fixes across the site

STEMpump App

STEMpump for iOS v5 is our biggest update yet, rebuilt for iOS 27 with Liquid Glass and a whole lot of new ways to learn. It requires iOS 27 on iPhone or iPad.

Discover & Library

• A redesigned Discover with an edge-to-edge hero, Continue Learning, and the Lesson, Camp and Course of the Day
• The same Universal Search with courses, chapters, camps and individual lessons, quizzes and projects

Courses & Lessons

• Redesigned course pages with progress rings that highlight the last lesson you viewed
• Swipe between lessons, with a sidebar outline on iPad
• Redesigned quizzes and projects
• Download a course to read it offline (videos aren't included)

Camps

• A new full-screen player that plays in landscape, with chapters on the scrubber, plus skip and speed controls
• A searchable transcript that follows the video. Tap a line to jump there
• Camps remember where you stopped, and show related courses

Intelligence

On devices with Apple Intelligence, STEMpump can now help you learn, all on your device:

• Summaries of any lesson or project: an overview, key points and key terms
• Ask questions about a lesson, and keep the conversation going with follow-ups
• Generate a practice quiz for any chapter
• In camps, Catch Up recaps what you've watched so far, Ask answers questions and links to the moment in the video, and Quiz tests you on what you've seen

Progress & Favorites

• Course and chapter progress shows on cards, rows and your favorite courses
• Favorite lessons from any lesson's menu, and remove single cards from Continue Learning or Favorites

Widgets, Siri & Spotlight

• The Continue Learning widget comes in every size, joined by new Lesson of the Day and Featured Course widgets
• Controls for Control Center, the Lock Screen and the Action button
• Spotlight finds every course, lesson and camp, and Siri can open, search and favorite them
• stempump.org course links open right in the app

Other Updates

• Designed for iPad and iPhone Duo, with wide layouts when unfolded and a tabletop camp view when half-folded
• Better VoiceOver, Dynamic Type and Reduce Motion support
• Settings can erase your saved data and remove downloads
