STEMpump in the classroom

STEMpump's courses work well alongside a class: they're free, there are no accounts for students to create, and nothing is behind a paywall. We cover Advanced Placement® subjects and a wide range of STEAM topics.

The courses are written by students who know the material well, so they explain hard ideas in plain language and build up step by step.

Ideas for teachers

• Assign a lesson or chapter by sharing its link. See Sharing lessons with students.
• Use quizzes as quick checks and projects as practice. Project solutions stay hidden until a student chooses to see them.
• Hand out printed copies for students without a device.
• Students can earn a certificate when they finish a course.

Progress is saved in each student's browser, so we can't show you how far students have got. Ask them to share their certificate or their quiz results.
