What's new in STEMpump.org 5

STEMpump.org 5 was rebuilt from the ground up. It's faster, it works like the STEMpump App, and it remembers your learning. Every course and camp is still free, with no account to create.

The Library

  • Discover opens the Library with the Lesson of the Day (or a quiz or project), a featured course and a camp to watch, refreshed every day.
  • Camps sit beside courses in each subject.
  • Continue learning picks up where you left off, in the Library and on every course page. See Where is my progress saved?
  • Favorites brings your favorite courses, camps and lessons together on one page. See Saving favorites.
  • Search finds courses, camps and subjects, plus individual lessons, quizzes and projects. See Searching STEMpump.

Courses and lessons

  • Redesigned course and lesson pages, with a sidebar that shows what you've completed, and a toolbar for learning on your phone.
  • Quizzes rebuilt to match the app, and code and math that look just like they do there.
  • PDFs for printing. Save any lesson as a PDF, or a whole course with Download PDF in the course page's Options menu. See Can I learn offline?

Camps

  • Chapters and a transcript beside every camp video, following along as it plays. Click a line to jump there. See Watching camps.
  • Favorite camps, just like courses.

Everywhere

  • Dark mode that follows your device. See Dark mode and accessibility.
  • Faster pages, and new content shows up sooner.
  • Accessibility and navigation fixes across the site.

What's gone

Good to know

Your progress and favorites are saved in your browser, separately from the app, and nothing syncs between them. With the STEMpump App installed on an iPhone or iPad, STEMpump.org links to courses, lessons and camps open right in the app.

Read every change in the release notes.
