Add a photo
After selecting the “Find free photos” option, type “technology” into the search bar.
If you select the “Pixabay” option versus the “Unsplash” option for photos, you may not find the pictures for this lesson. In order to check which option is being used select the downwards arrow located at the right portion of the search bar. We are using the “Unsplash” option for this lesson.
Select the photo shown below. If you were not able to find this image, that is okay! Just choose another photo in the “technology” category.
After the image sets up behind our text, a small icon should appear in the bottom left portion of your screen.
This information button allows you to see information about and the source of the image you used from the “Find free photos” option.
If you left click on the image that is behind the text a menu pops up with options.
Focal point
If you would like to change which part of the image is shown or which part is the focus, select this option. Afterwards a small clear circle will appear, and you can drag this circle around the image to adjust the focus. Once you have chosen your desired focal point, then select the save button, located at the top right section of the screen.
